We are a non-profit social impact project, in Madrid, and led by a team of ​young individuals that wish to make the world a better place by protecting the right to ​report freely.

A world where journalists can report freely, creating more democratic societies that ​ensure transparency, accountability, and informed citizenship, which in turn supports ​effective governance and protects individual freedoms.

OUR MISSION

Free Press Alliance’s mission is to provide you, the new generations of journalists and ​young activists, with contextualized and relevant information on freedom of press.

Camila Guevara Medranda

Social Media Manager

Graduated in Bilingual Economics from the University of Navarra and currently pursuing a Master's in Marketing & Sales Management at EAE Business School. Camila is passionate about social media, and her job is to showcase FPA's activities and bring its online presence to life. She is committed to adding value to society through her actions.

Victoria Fuertes González

Director

Victoria is the director and editor of FPA. She studied Journalism and Humanities Studies at Carlos III University in Madrid and did her dissertations on the search for belonging in the migratory experience and the role of the media during wartime. She loves to travel and never loses the desire to learn about other cultures and those who live them.

Rodrigo

Rodrigo Aguirre de Cárcer

Advisor

Graduated Magna Cum Laude in Economics from Northwestern University. Rodrigo's career combines experience in finance (Goldman Sachs, Citigroup), strategic consulting (Bain & Company), general management of multinationals (eBay Spain), social entrepreneurship (founder of SocialBid, Ashoka Fellow), and social impact investment.

Tatiana Ayala Arcos

Advisor

I am passionate about innovation and sustainable investment, with a strong background in social economics and generating positive impact. My fieldwork with NGOs has been crucial in broadening my practical perspective and developing great adaptability to different contexts. I am excited to bring my experience to social impact projects, especially working alongside a young team like FPA. I firmly believe in the importance of bringing people together and seeking creative solutions to address the most pressing social challenges. My motivation is to contribute to building a fairer and more equitable future for everyone.
